Qualifications
•Must have understanding of the national electrical code (Primarily Class 2 conduit & wiring installation requirements, conduit fill/sizing, applicable codes for control systems installation)
•Must have a valid driver license and a good driving record
•Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
•Install control devices for Building Automation Systems
•Install raceways & control cable
•Perform Controls System point-to-point Start-up & Checkout (requires operation of computer to interface with automation controllers)
•Perform Troubleshooting on control systems
•Must be able to size transformers, conduit, and electrical boxes
•Pursue training and development opportunities to enhance skill
•Must have understanding of the national electrical code (Primarily Class 2 conduit & wiring installation requirements, conduit fill/sizing, applicable codes for control systems installation) • Knowledge of mechanical systems a plus
