Air Filtration Systems and Air Purifiers in Nashville, TN
Maynard is your clean air, clean water, and clean energy expert. We install air filtration systems and air purifiers from top manufacturers in the industry, such as Amana, Trane, Bryant, Daikin, and many others. More important than the type of systems that we install is the way in which we service them.
Our NATE-certified technicians find solutions to problems that other contractors overlook. We don’t replace equipment that could be fixed with the right level of expertise. If your air filtration systems and air purifiers are struggling, trust the Maynard Man to restore them to peak performing levels. Breathe better air in your home.
Removing Pollutants from the Air Effectively
The first line of defense against indoor air quality problems is the air filtration system. These are systems designated solely to air filtration in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. They remove particulate like dust, pollen, and other pollutants from the air, alleviating allergy symptoms and making your home cleaner in general.
The standard air filter in your HVAC system is there to protect that system, not to boost indoor air quality throughout your home. A more effective filtration system is needed for that. We will find one that integrates perfectly into your HVAC system for maximum air filtering results.
Explore Your Air Purification Options
Air filtration is not always the solution you need. This is where air purification systems enter the equation. These systems take a more active role in removing pollutants from the air than basic filtration systems do. There are a few different types of air purifiers to consider.
An electrostatic precipitator works by giving pollutants an electric charge, and then trapping them on oppositely charged cells or plates. You simply remove the collection cells or plates, clean them off, and put them back to keep the air purifier functioning properly.
What About Biological Pollutants?
These include viruses, mold, and bacteria, all of which can cause serious health problems. The good news is that UV (ultraviolet air purifiers) are available. By completely destroying these pollutants and rendering them incapable of reproduction, you eliminate the risk of them continuing to thrive even after being caught on a filter. Most are too small for filtering out, anyway.
These lights are installed into your air distribution system, typically near the air handler, so they are not shining light into your living space. Even if they did, they are completely harmless to multicellular organisms. However, they are devastating to biological pollutants. Contact us to repair and service your air purifiers and air filtration systems as needed. We offer full replacement and installation services, too.
